Proper Noun: A proper noun is the name of a particular person, place, and thing. Proper nouns always begin with a capital letter. They present separate classification and help avoid vagueness. Proper nouns are not in plural from because they refer to specific entities. The correct use of proper nouns is essential for effective communication. Examples: Ram, Mohan, Sita, Mary, Premchand, New Delhi. London, America, Mount Everest, Indian Ocean, Rewanchal Express, Tajmahal, Ramayan.

Noun: Noun is one of the fundamental parts of ‘Parts of Speech’ in English grammar. It is defined in various ways. Some says that ‘naming words are nouns.’ Some others say that ‘a word that represents a person, place, thing and idea is known as noun.’ Nouns are countable and uncountable both. They are concrete and abstract too. In forms they are singular and plural too. These nouns are used as the subject or the object of a sentence. ‘Parts of Speech’ is a significant part of English grammar. This part of English grammar categories words on the basis of their grammatical functions. The study of this part helps us understand how words are used and how they relate to each other in a sentence. Understanding the different parts of speech is important for constructing sentences and ensuring grammatical correctness. There are eight parts of speech in English grammar. A & An का प्रयोग Singular Countable Noun (गिनी जा सकने योग्य एकवचन संज्ञा) के पूर्व pronunciation (उच्चारण) के आधार पर किया जाता है. 4. जिस Singular Countable Noun के उच्चारण की आरंभिक ध्वनि स्वर ध्वनि (Vowel Sound) हो उस Noun के पूर्व an का प्रयोग किया जाता है . 5. जिस Singular Countable Noun के उच्चारण की आरंभिक ध्वनि व्यंजन ध्वनि (Consonant Sound) हो उस Noun के पूर्व a का प्रयोग किया जाता है.
