My Father

My Father

My father, a teacher, now is gone,
He toiled so hard, for us he strove,
A loving memory lingers on,
His boundless care, his endless love.

With books and fields, he spent his days,
To see us learn, his dream so true,
Through weary nights and countless ways
A future bright, he saw us through.

His strength and spirit, ever bright, T
Though hardships marked his every stride,
We live with ease, by morning's light
His legacy, our family's pride.

From Patna's hospital, he took his flight,
A sudden shock, a void so deep,
I miss him dearly, day and night,
His cherished love, my heart will keep.
